About Us

All Shook Up’s lessons are conducted at:

• Telarah Bowling Club, Clark Street, Telarah on Wednesday evenings; and
• Newcastle venue temporarily on hold.

Once the Newcastle venue has recommenced, generous discounts will be available to members who participate in more than one lesson-evening during the same calendar week.

The principal, Gary Haigh, is an associate level three instructor with the Australian Rock ‘n’ Roll Dancesport Council (ARRDC) (ARRDC membership No. 0309G Australia) and a founding member of the New South Wales Rock n Roll Association (membership No. 002/2018.) He is the only full time professional level three dance teacher based in the Hunter Valley who is accredited with, and a financial member of, the ARRDC and New South wales Rock n Roll Association.

All Shook Up is certified to work in a child-related environment and as such can provide excellent tuition for children either at the regular evening venues or at schools throughout the Hunter Valley.

The teaching assistants are friendly and approachable with a great deal of practical dance experience.

• Weekly Dance Lesson Schedule

  Beginners' lessons commence at 7:00 pm and conclude at approximately 7:55 pm. Intermediate/advanced lessons commence at 8:15 pm and conclude at approximately 9:00 pm. Lessons are not normally conducted during school holidays.
